Our Policies
Dog Boarding Drop-Off and Pick-Up Policy
To ensure a smooth, organized, and low-stress experience for all dogs in our care, Planet Paws Pet Care offers boarding drop-off and pick-up during the following times:
Monday through Friday
7:00 am–10:00 am
4:00 pm–7:00 pm
Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays
7:00 am–7:00 pm
Clients are required to schedule a 30-minute arrival window for both drop-off and pick-up in advance within these hours.
Drop-off and pick-up times should be scheduled at the time of booking whenever possible. If travel plans are not finalized, we require at least 72 hours’ notice to schedule your arrival window. Requests made with less than 72 hours’ notice may not always be able to be accommodated.
Clients are expected to arrive within their scheduled window. If you are running late or need to adjust your time, you must notify us as soon as possible through the Time To Pet app.
Dogs not picked up by 7:00 PM will be charged an additional overnight boarding fee.
Payment Policy / Cancellation Policy:
A 50% deposit is due upon booking to hold the client’s reservation for Dog Boarding and Vacation Care. The final payment for Dog Boarding and Vacation Care is due 24 hours before drop-off.
A full refund is available if stay is cancelled by 12:00 PM 7 days before the service begins.
If canceled later than 12:00 PM 7 days before the service begins, a 50% refund is available for the first 7 canceled days from the cancellation request. A 100% refund is available for any additional days cancelled.
For holidays, a full refund is available if canceled by 12:00 PM 7 days before the service begins.
If canceled later than 12:00 PM 7 days before the service begins, a 50% refund is available for the first 7 calendar days from the cancellation request. A 100% refund is available for any additional days canceled. Holidays include Memorial Day Weekend (Friday-Monday), July 4, Labor Day Weekend (Friday-Monday), Thanksgiving and Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.
Early Return to Home or Late Departure from Home:
Reservations are made to plan for Dog Boarding and Vacation Care availability for the client’s reservation dates. Therefore, clients returning home early or departing later than the reservation will be required to pay for the full reservation amount of time, regardless of whether the client returned home early or departed later than the prior reservation scheduled. No amount of money will be refunded to client for early returns to home or late departures from home by client after a reservation date has been agreed upon.

Dog Walking and Potty and Play Visits
Cancellation Policy:
A full credit is available if canceled 24-hours before the service begins. If canceled later than 24-hours before the service begins, the full walk/Potty and Play Visit will be charged.
Dog Walking Weather Policy
Weather Realted Adjustments:
- If weather conditions could impact your dog’s comfort, safety, or emotional wellbeing, the scheduled walk may be converted to a Potty & Play visit instead.
- This ensures your dog still receives a bathroom break, enrichment, and attention without unnecessary stress.
- What qualifies as inclement weather will be determined at the discretion of Planet Paws Pet Care, with your dog’s wellbeing as the top priority.
Timing of Weather Decisions
- Weather-related adjustments or cancellations will typically be determined approximately 1 hour prior to the scheduled visit time, allowing for the most accurate assessment of real-time conditions.
- In cases of clearly severe or sustained weather, a decision may be made earlier.
- Clients will be notified as soon as a decision is made.
Rescheduling & Cancellation During Inclement Weather
- If you are home during the scheduled walk time, you may reschedule with no cancellation fee.
- If rescheduling isn’t possible due to client scheduling conflicts, the visit will be considered canceled and the standard 24-hour cancellation policy will apply.
Our Priority
- Your dog’s physical comfort, emotional wellbeing, and safety always come first.
Pet Illness/Veterinary Care
The client is aware and agrees to the medical costs of any fees should they arise from animal(s) being ill or otherwise needing veterinary care.

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.
